Kermarée
Production and conversion of sea food in Normandy
Kermarée was founded in 1991 from the common desire of two shellfish farmers from the west Cotentin breeding basin, William Madelaine and Jean-Pierre K’dual, to sell their family produce to the main supermarket brands.
Their production activities developed from this partnership, leading them to build an industrial site in 1995 which is now the company head office.
To meet the expectations of their customers and serve a dynamic and rapidly-changing market, in 2002 they decided to create a technical extension of the existing workshops in compliance with European standards and to extend the range with
cooked products.
This tool now reflects
Kermarée’s know-how and its ability to refocus the products from fishing or local breeding and convert the shellfish and crustaceans obtained from across Europe.
A network of Partners
Producers, fishermen, suppliers
Kermarée now represents an efficient network, checked internally by the
Quality Departement, of
partners:
- shellfish producers for the oyster and bouchot pole mussel breeding activities
- fishermen of whelks, warty clams, manila clams and Barfleur mussels.
A dynamic team, ready to listen to your requirements:
Kermarée has a professional and skilled sales and technical team, with a perfect knowledge of the products, whose daily mission is to send you
the very best the sea has to offer.
Since 1991,
Kermarée’s philosophy is to focus especially on the sea food quality and diversity.
